Pathentometric mapping of technological production on Artificial Intelligence in agriculture
a study from Derwent Innovations

It carries out a patentometric mapping of technological production on Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture, based on the Derwent Innovations Index platform, from 1998 to 2022. The search expression included “artificial intelligence” (Topic) AND Agriculture (Subject Areas). As a result, 1092 records were found and processed in the calculation spreadsheet and Orange Data Mining software. As results, it was found that production is growing and has been uninterrupted since 2015, with the most representative subclass being A01G, which covers: horticulture; growing vegetables, flowers, rice, fruits, nails, hops or algae; forestry; irrigation.
