Abstract
This paper analyzes the integration of Information, Communication, and Innovation Technologies (ICTs) into library science training at the Federal University of Alagoas. Its objectives are to examine the program's Pedagogical Policy Project, identify essential competencies and skills, and discuss the impact of the digital age on librarians' roles. It uses qualitative methodology and bibliographic research, based on articles, works, and institutional documents. ICTs are considered strategic for preparing professionals capable of acting innovatively and inclusively in the digital age, strengthening the role of library science in Alagoas.
